What is your cancellation and no show policy?

We understand that schedules can change. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Appointments canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours will incur a 50% charge of the scheduled service(s). This allows us to respect our team’s time and accommodate other guests.

To help us continue providing the best experience for all guests, repeated late cancellations or no shows may require a card on file for future bookings.

What if I’m not satisfied with my service?

Your satisfaction is very important to us. If you are not completely happy with your service, we welcome the opportunity to make it right. Please contact us within the following timeframes:

  • Haircuts: within 7 days

  • Hair Color: within 14 days (must be using recommended professional products)

  • Perms: within 14 days

  • Nail Services: within 7 days

Our team will work with you to adjust your service and ensure you leave feeling confident and happy with your results.

Do you offer a product return policy?

Yes! If you are not satisfied with a product purchased at JMAC, you may return it within 14 days of purchase.

  • Unused products: eligible for full return

  • Used products: subject to a 20% restocking fee

What can I expect from a haircut appointment?

Every haircut at JMAC begins with a personalized consultation to understand your goals, lifestyle, and hair type. Your service includes a wash, cut, and a basic style. If you’d like additional styling such as curls or flat iron work, we’re happy to add that, just be sure to book accordingly, as it requires extra time and an additional cost.

 

What should I wear to my appointment?

We recommend wearing dark colors or using one of our provided salon capes to help protect your clothing during your service. While we take great care, JMAC is not responsible for any damage to clothing. For the best experience, please avoid hoods, turtlenecks, or bulky collars, as they can interfere with certain services.

What if I have a lot of hair?

If you have long, thick, or high density hair, additional time may be needed to achieve your desired results. We recommend noting this when booking so we can schedule accordingly and give your service the attention it deserves.

Because these hair types often require extra product, time, and technique, there may be an additional cost. Your stylist will always review this with you during your consultation for full transparency.

What if I’ve colored my hair at home?

If you’ve used box color or at home treatments, please let us know prior to your appointment. This information helps our stylists properly plan your service, as additional time, product, or a corrective approach may be needed to safely achieve your desired result.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes! Gift cards are available and make the perfect gift for any occasion. They can be used toward any service or product at JMAC. They can not be redeemed at JMAC Salon Suites.

Should I pre book my next appointment?

Pre booking helps ensure you secure your preferred stylist and time. Many services, especially color and specialty services, are scheduled several weeks in advance. Pre booking helps maintain the health and consistency of your hair, skin, or nails.

What happens if I arrive late to my appointment?

We understand that delays can happen and we do allow a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals.

If you arrive within this window, we will do our best to accommodate your service; however, your appointment may need to be shortened in order to respect the next guest’s scheduled time.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled and may be subject to our cancellation policy.

If you are running late, we kindly ask that you contact the salon as soon as possible so we can assist you.

What if I have allergies or sensitivities?
